STANDING ON THE ROCK
The Lord is close to all who call upon Him, to all who call upon Him in Truth.”
Psalm 145:18 NLT
The Lord told Moses, “I will personally go with you, Moses, and I will give you rest. Everything will be fine for you.” Exodus 33:14
He tells me, “I will personally go with you, Wendy, do not be afraid or discouraged. I will help you and guide you. I will go ahead of you in person, and I will make crooked paths straight and flatten great mountains. I will never leave you or abandon you. So be strong and courageous.”
“YOU HAVE NOT HANDED ME OVER TO MY ENEMIES BUT HAVE SET ME IN A SAFE PLACE.” Psalm 30:8
On a Rock. On THE Rock of Ages. I am standing on the Rock. On Jesus. He is always with me holding me up, guiding me, providing for me, and strengthening me. Even as I face a new health issue. I was lately diagnosed with Fibromylagia and it answers the why to a lot of other health issues I’ve been facing the last two years and even beyond that.
I have good days and bad days. Yesterday I felt great. I had energy a lot of aches and pains were gone. Today with a day of rain and a thunder storm moving in, I’m back to aching all over, joints hurting and feeling extremely tired. In the afternoon, after I moved around and took my walk with Ruby I felt much better which happens often.
But God brought us lots of rain! Praise Him for the wonderful rain and the many cool days we had in June!
“He never brings the rain that He doesn’t give a rainbow of His love!” (from a song on my CD)
Isn’t that right? The storms in our lives turn out to be blessings from our Father. Blessings that we could not get any other way but to go though a tough time. Blessings that only come from His great love for us. Blessings that we see in the darkness, that come before the sun shines.
He is faithful and he is good! He is worthy of honer and Glory and ALL our praise!
He is with me always. He never leaves me or forsakes me.
He is with me in the storm holding me up and giving me strength to get through, and He is with me in the sunshine when I dance.
I am standing on the Rock and I will praise and thank Him through it all!
He has taken away my clothes of mourning and clothed me with JOY!
I will sing Praise!
I will sing Praise!
“You have turned my mourning into joyful dancing. You have taken away my clothes of mourning and clothed me with joy, that I might sing praises to You and not be silent.” Psalm 30:11
Be strong and courageous all who put your hope in the Lord!” Psalm 24
This one keeps coming up.
“So be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid and do not panic before them. For the Lord your God will personally go ahead of you. He will neither fail you nor abandon you.
Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord will personally go ahead of you. He will be with you. He will neither fail you nor abandon you.” Deuteronomy 31:6, 8
