I live in North Dakota but I’m really a Montanan. Folks wander, I’m sure if I’ll ever stop saying that and after 3 years of being here, I doubt it. Once Montana is in your heart you can not get it out. I lived in Montana for 30 years, mostly on the west side, but in the last few years we were on the East side of the Rockies. I was born and raised a mountain girl so I figured I could never grow to like the prairies, but after a few years in central Montana I realized the prairies are beautiful in their own way. Now I love the wide open spaces and letting my eyes wonder to the far horizon. Not that I still don’t love the mountains, but I have to admit I feel a bit cheated when my view is blocked by a ridge or trees only a few hundred yards away.
I do like North Dakota, this western side is very much like eastern Montana in the flavor of the life styles. The people are warm and welcoming and the countryside is really very gorgeous. I was surprised, to say the least, that there was such wonderful country in North Dakota.
I love to tell what God is doing in my life and I hope you enjoy and are encouraged by my blogs. Please let me know what you think. Wendy

Many thanks for sharing your great postcards with me. My favorite is the one of the wild horses with the oil well in the background! Amazing! This should be in a magazine.
