In God

Be merciful, O God for man would swallow me up, fighting all day he oppresses me.  My enemies would hound me all day, for there are many who fight against me O Most High.”

Overwhelmed by stresses, problems, the “in your face” world?  Hounded by rude people? Threatened by malicious enemies?  Bombarded by false lies and controlling, dishonest leaders?  Pressed down by fears, worry, fretting, anxiety?

Remember:

“Whenever I am afraid, I will trust in You!  In God! I will praise His word!  In God I have put my trust!  I will not fear.  What can man do to me?  What can my flesh, my emotions do to me?  Psalm 56:1-4

“You number my wonderings you put my tears in a bottle.  Are they not in Your book?”

He does not loose sight of what I am going through.  He does not forget the pain I have suffered.  He keeps track of what I do.  He sees my suffering.  He keeps my tears in a bottle.  Like drops on a page they are in His book.  He cares!

“In God! I will praise His word!  In the Lord!  I will praise His word!  In God I have put my trust, I will not be afraid!  What can man do to me?” Psalm 56:8-11

“Be merciful to me, O God, be merciful to me!  For my soul trusts in You!  And in the shadow of Your wings I will make my refuge, until these calamities have passed by.” Psalm 57:1

This too will pass.  Trials come to an end.  Always.  My job is to trust in the One who holds the stars.  To lean on the One who controls the universe.  Sometimes I just need to hunker down under His wings and trust Him.

IN GOD!
